Request for Comments on DDOT Bike Proposed Plan
As DDOT is considering alternatives for bike lanes on New Mexico, Tunlaw and 37th Street south to Reservoir Road, ANC 3B would like to get comments from those who live and work in the Commission area. DDOT has already shared several alternatives but has not yet made a specific proposal or issued an official call for public comments.
While ANC 3B has been working closely with DDOT to understand their proposal and explore ways to improve it, the commission has not yet taken a position on this issue, and is continuing to gather information and perspectives on the proposals. We are eager to get comments from people who live and work in ANC 3B. Here is the link for Requested Comments. Please provide your input via e-mail to anc3bmail@gmail.com by Friday, July 9th.
DDOT has told us they are planning to present some new options and will be looking for community input at the July 15 ANC 3B meeting. We hope that you will participate in the meeting and have time in the schedule to hear feedback. But depending on community interest, we may not have time to hear from everyone, which is why we are asking you to send your comments directly, in advance of the meeting, at anc3bmail@gmail.com. Please make sure to note where in the community you live when you share those comments.
