  • International Women’s Democracy Center, $2,500 for Feed the Family Pantry at Van Ness to purchase a computer and accessories and bags to help distribute the food, June 2021
  • DC Food Project, $2,500 for distributing Souper Girl Soups to families and students facing food insecurity in several District neighborhoods during COVID-19 emergency, April 2021

  • Open Collective Foundation acting on behalf of Ward 3 Mutual Aid, $2,500 to support the Mutual Aid program to purchase and distribute food and sanitary supplies for Ward 3 households in need during the COVID-19 emergency (November 2020)
  • Friendship Place, $2,500 for the gift cards to ride-share and Giant Food for the AimHire program helping formerly homeless individuals to find and keep jobs (July 2020)
  • DC Food Project, $2,323.29 for bags and supplies to use in its Emergency Food Bag program which distributes food to local students and families facing food insecurity during COVID-19 (April 2020)
  • Friends of Glover Park, $982.01 for sports equipment and supplies to use in basketball programs at Glover Park Community Center in Stoddert Elementary School (February 2020)
  • Iona Senior Services, $1,055 for 500 reusable food bags to distribute to participants in nutrition and fitness programs (January 2020)
