WMATA Better Bus Network

The WMATA Better Bus Network will be implemented on June 29, 2025. In Glover Park, the D2 Bus Line will be replaced with two lines: the D96 that runs between Bethesda and Virginia Avenue (on weekdays) and between Bethesda and DuPont Circle (on weekends) and the C85 that runs between Foxhall and Nebraska Avenue.  These bus lines will not loop around Glover Park as the D2 did. Going southboumd, the bus route will run from Tunlaw down 39th, left on Benton to Tunlaw. Going northbound, the bus route will run from Benton to a right on 40th Street, left on Calvert Street, right on 41st Street, left on Edmunds and then a right on 42nd Street to Tunlaw Road.
