Amid concerns from some Glover Park neighbors about the impact of the streetscape project on neighborhood traffic, DDOT placed new stop signs and crosswalks at several Glover Park locations and released preliminary plans for the redesign of the intersection of 37th and Tunlaw. One piece of bad news: at the August 9 community meeting, DDOT announced that the changes at 37th and Tunlaw and gas main work being done by Washington Gas would cause the project to last until November 2012 – extending the project by about two months.
