Renewing the Glover Park Liquor License Moratorium

ANC3B will discuss our neighborhood’s freeze on issuing certain new liquor licenses at our February 9 meeting and then vote on a recommendation regarding the moratorium renewal.  Right now, there are two full-service (beer, wine, spirits) restaurant licenses available in Glover Park, one of which has been on the market for 3 years.  There is no restriction on issuing new licenses to serve only beer and wine.  So far, we believe the moratorium has worked well to maintain a balance of goods and services in our commercial area and to maintain a reasonable level of peace, order and quiet in the neighborhood. We welcome your comments at info@anc3b.org and encourage you to attend our February meeting.  For more information, click here.
