DDOT’s Urban Forestry team has been busy in Glover Park for the last few months. Urban Forestry is planting over 6,000 trees citywide between September and December 2012 – including over 100 in Glover Park. The map below shows the locations of all the new street trees – green spots are trees planted in September, red spots are trees being planted in the December planting. The plantings include ten new trees planted along Wisconsin Ave. as part of the Wisconsin Ave. streetscape project. Click here for a downloadable map.
Remember – water your trees in the spring, summer, and fall….and report empty tree boxes to 311 – Urban Forestry will get them on the list for the next round of planting.
