ANC 3B Votes to Modify Liquor License Moratorium

ANC 3B met on February 9, 2012 at Stoddert Elementary and Recreation Center.  The ANC voted 3-1 in favor of a resolution to modify the Glover Park Liquor License Moratorium, voting to add 2 additional CR restaurant licenses and to reassess the status of the moratorium in three years.    The ANC also voted 4-0 in favor of a resolution calling for a bus shelter at Wisconsin Avenue and Fulton St., and voted in favor of a $2,900 grant to the Hardy Middle School PTA.   Officer Dave Baker gave the monthly crime report, reiterating that it is illegal (and potential cause for arrest) to have unleashed dogs on Stoddert Field or anywhere in D.C.   Please leash your dog!  Finally, ANC 3B learned that Fort Myer Construction Company has been awarded the Wisconsin Avenue Streetscape Project, with work expected to begin in late spring or early summer.
