ANC 3B Supports Stand-Alone Education Committee in DC Council

On December 10, 2014, amid reports that the DC Council was considering abolishing the Council’s stand-alone Education Committee, ANC 3B voted 4-0 to send a letter to Council Chair Phil Mendelson urging him to retain the Education Committee to deal with schools and other education issues facing the city.
