ANC 3B March Meeting Summary

At the March 9 meeting, ANC 3B unanimously passed a resolution to end the Glover Park Liquor License Moratorium on Class B (retail wine and beer) liquor licenses; heard from artist and neighbor Jarrett Ferrier about his plans to paint a mural and tribute to Glover Park’s namesake, Charles Carroll Glover, on the steps that connect W. St. and 37th St.; received a briefing from the Office of Planning on the proposed update of D.C. Zoning Laws; updated the community on the plans for the Wisconsin Avenue streetscape (construction will start in late spring, and be completed by November 2012; there will be a large community meeting to address issues, questions, and concerns before the project begins — look for notice about this meeting in the next few weeks); and approved the February 2012 meeting minutes.
