Act now to prevent WMATA and DDOT from cutting D1 and D2 bus service in Glover Park
DDOT and WMATA have proposed cutbacks in D1 and D2 bus service to
Glover Park, recommending reducing the frequency of the D1 bus during morning
rush hours, and cutting back on D2 service during nights and weekends.
These cuts are outrageous, given that we have no other mass transit service in
Glover Park and that DDOT and WMATA have already eliminated the N8 bus service
from Glover Park to Tenleytown.
We need the entire community to speak up to prevent these cuts. WMATA is
holding a public hearing to consider these cuts on October 13. The meeting
will be held at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church at 1830 Connecticut Avenue NW.
The meeting begins at 6:30 PM.
We need you to attend and speak out against D1 and D2 cuts.
You can sign up to speak at the October 13 at speak@wmata.com
If you cannot attend, please send written comments to WMATA at writtentestimony@wmata.com
Please cc: info@anc3b.org on comments to WMATA so we may catalog community comments.
