Kavanagh’s Pizzeria Closes – Arcuri on the Way

Long-time Glover Park favorite Kavanagh’s closed this past month, to be replaced by Arcuri, a “vibrant, elegant, trattoria” expected to open soon.  The invaluable Hyperlocal Glover Park has the news.

Developers of 2251 Wisconsin Ave. Present at ANC 3B’s February Meeting

ANC 3B received a presentation from Charlie Kehler of Altus Realty Partners, who have recently purchased 2251 Wisconsin Ave., the home of Glover Park Hardware and Washington Sports Club.   Altus Realty intends to build a significant new addition behind the current building, with two decks of parking and 81 new studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments.
